Kristie + Brad Married | Durand, WI

 I had the privilege to personally know Kristie and Brad from school. To say this wedding was special, is a complete understatement.

The love story between these two is so inspiring. When the groom was diagnosed with cancer, Kristie and the entire community came together to support him. Needless to say, these two have faced many obstacles, but they never gave up. They stayed positive and focused on their love for each other.

Through it all, Brad still has the kind of energy that lights up a room and makes everyone around him smile! To see him so happy - and in much better health - on the biggest day of the couple's lives was an absolute blessing for all!

One of my favorite things to do during a wedding is to sneak the couple away at sunset for some romantic photos outside. You just can't beat this lighting and the twinkle lights in the background.

Mandi + Mike Married | Marshfield, WI

After such a fun engagement session last fall, I was thrilled to start our 2015 wedding season with Mandi and Mike! We loved exploring Marshfield for the first time and easily found some beautiful backdrops for this gorgeous couple and their wedding party. No detail was missed with this wedding ---the church in itself was simply breathtaking! Thanks again to the new Mr. + Mrs. Bilgrien for having us; we had a wonderful time! We wish you both a long and happy future together!

I love these moments before a ceremony. All the details are documented (one of my favorite things to do at a wedding) and excitement fills the morning. This particular wedding, we did not do a first look, so these moments of the bride and groom alone were truly special! 

After we successfully hid the bride and groom so that they wouldn't see each other, the ceremony was where the real fun would begin! I can't get enough of the way Mandi and Mike looked at each other--full of love, a marker for the rest of their lives together.

It was so exciting to finally begin our 2013 wedding season! All of the planning and details that we discuss with our brides come to life!

Even though it was cold outside, there was warmth and love filled inside the church. The bright wedding colors also helped add that touch of warmth.

I may be a little bit biased because he is my nephew, but Brayden's smash cake session to celebrate turning 1 was one of my favorites! Brayden displayed every emotion I have when I eat cake; curiosity, surprise, and excitement! Thanks for all of the belly laughs buddy!  

Welcome Baby Jase | Eau Claire, WI

He's here! The newest member of our family, Jase Alan House! So little and so precious! We had a lot of fun during his session. Great Grandma had a doll bed that held Grandpa when he was a baby! It was so neat to find a family heirloom that we could incorporate into the session. Along with the bed, we also had some fun with some golf props! Daddy shared his clubs for some pretty cute pictures. Welcome baby Jase, we all love you so much already!
