One of the best ways to end your wedding season, is to spend it with friends! It is always so special when I personally know the wedding couple and I was so honored when Ashley and Alex asked me to be their photographer! I had the privilege to work with both Ashley and Alex in the past, so I was very excited to once again work alongside their fun and easy-going personalities! This wedding had been in the making for many years and they couldn't have chosen a more gorgeous venue to celebrate their special day at than The Enchanted Barn! The day was truly beautiful; I could not have hoped for anything less for my friends!

Kristie + Brad Married | Durand, WI

 I had the privilege to personally know Kristie and Brad from school. To say this wedding was special, is a complete understatement.

The love story between these two is so inspiring. When the groom was diagnosed with cancer, Kristie and the entire community came together to support him. Needless to say, these two have faced many obstacles, but they never gave up. They stayed positive and focused on their love for each other.

Through it all, Brad still has the kind of energy that lights up a room and makes everyone around him smile! To see him so happy - and in much better health - on the biggest day of the couple's lives was an absolute blessing for all!

One of my favorite things to do during a wedding is to sneak the couple away at sunset for some romantic photos outside. You just can't beat this lighting and the twinkle lights in the background.
